Google recommends you disable Firefox's AdBlock for Gmail

Bah! This just bothers me - don't roll out a service until it is working properly Google. I wonder if they want AdBlock disabled for other reasons too.

- This seems like a sticky subject - I see this kind of stuff on Digg.com all of the time, and no one [usually ] gripes about it - usually. If the Seed is legitimately made by an individual - who doesn't work for the company - then I should assume it's okay.

- Isn't it obvious? Google is doing this for one reason: To spread their software in order to make money from ads. Google isn't a search engine company anymore, they are an ad company. And, this seems like it would quite a good investment.

- Cool read, Smickles. I actually do Tech Support for a Usenet company, and can relate to much of what you say. When reading what I do on Usenet, quite often I feel like a small child listening closely to the old carpenters in my village, so that I may one day be like them, in a way.
